Description
Features and Benefits
Clifton stirred water baths provide a highly stable temperature environment for immersion of flasks, bottles or racks. Durable, corrosion resistant tanks are enclosed in a sturdy outer case with a chemical resistant paint finish. While static baths provide good temperature control with simplicity and economy, stirred baths provide a further degree of accuracy together with thermostatic dial control.

Clifton stirred water baths are designed for immersion of flasks, bottles and racks in an accurate temperature environment throughout the water bath.
3 Year Warranty
Before leaving the factory, every water bath is identified with a unique serial number and undergoes a factory calibration, adjusting the control to a known traceable value. Each is electrically tested for safety during the final inspection, and a test certificate is enclosed in the rear of the instruction book.

Broad range of accessories available to suit wide range of applications.
Painted surfaces feature “anti-bacterial technology” which inhibits bacterial growth, improving hygiene requirements as demanded by clinical and laboratory environments.
Safety Features
- Features a low liquid level float switch, which ensures heating is switched off if the liquid falls below the recommended level – display will show “FiLL”. Heating is switched off, but stirring continues. To reset, carefully top up the liquid to the recommended level.
Product Highlights

Energy Consumption
0.5kWh @ 37°C
0.4kWh @ 60°C – lid fitted
(Based on NE4-8T)
Please note that energy consumption may vary due to factors such as location, ventilation, ambient temperatures and loading.

Controls
Each water bath features a bold LED display of measured temperatures in real-time and in increments of ±0.1°C, using a precision PID temperature controller. Option to set for water temperature only or a combination of temperature and time. Timer setting variable in 1-minute increments from 00:01 to 99:59 (hh:mm). Time and temperature settings are retained in the memory, even after the unit has been turned off. Every bath undergoes a factory calibration at 37°C and 85°C for validation.

Heating/Cooling Information
An accessory immersion cooler DC1-300 is used to cool the water bath. Where bath temperatures are below ambient, we recommend a mix of glycol and water. We also recommend a lid or layer of spheres for insulation. The water bath should be used in ambient temperature (20°C). For water temperatures above 60°C we recommend that an accessory lid or layer of spheres be used for optimum performance. This will reduce evaporation and a lid will keep the samples and water free from contamination. Optimum performance saves energy by reducing electricity consumption and running costs.
